Advertising

Our independent advertising server feeds a total of over 260,000,000 advertisements a month with over 172,000 total clicks. Each ad is served piping hot, oven fresh to provide maximum click-through enjoyment. Advertisements are created by and for the furry community, and we strive to keep all advertising relevant to the fandom's interest (rather than merely for profit). Average advertiser generates 2,300 to 5,8000 clicks a month per ad (varying depending on quality/content).

Funding generated by advertisements goes towards server maintenance, bandwidth or upgrades.

Rates

• Standard FA Banner (300x90) - $20.00/month, $100.00/6 months. Banners rotate out of one of four possible slots on the site. By default, all ads are given two (2) days extra advertising time to compensate for potential scheduled downtime and maintenance. Ads will be automatically extended by 24 hours in the event of downtime which lasts four (4) hours or more. Because we're nice like that.
  Accepted File Formats: JPG, GIF, PNG
  File size limit: 200K.

General Advertising Info
Advertising must be related to the general interests of the community. We WILL NOT accept ads which are not relevant to the interest of our users (no matter how much you offer to pay). We want ads to be relevant and interesting. Advertisements for non-furry are permitted, and will be approved on a case-by-case basis. We welcome ads containing animation (.gif only) so long as the ads do not rapidly flash colors, contain unnecessarily long animations or fades. All ads should be easily legible, and should not contain overly bright colors.

Mature Advertising Info
Fur Affinity accepts advertisements for mature sites, albeit with limitations:

1. Mature ads are ONLY visible to those who have Mature art enabled. Visitors and users who have not flagged their accounts will not be able to see them.
2. Advertisements must be kept tasteful and work-safe - no nudity or maturity may be showing in the ad.

How Do I Advertise on FA?

1. Step one: Send an e-mail to advertising@furaffinity.net, including your website address, a brief description of your site and (if you have one ready) include your ad as an attachment. If your advertisement is date/time sensitive please be sure to note that in your initial e-mail. Please expect up to 3 business days (M-F) for a response.
2. Step two: Ads and links will be reviewed for content and general quality. On rare occasions, ads may be rejected and sent back with comments as to why it was declined. This is done for quality concerns, and to help improve your ad (we want your ad to be successful!).
3. Step three: Once your ad approved, payment instructions will be sent via e-mail. Ads will go live within 2 business days (M-F) after payment is received
